AUGMENTED PROTOTYPING

Emerging research studying the effects of circuit prototyping in an augmented space. This study particularly looks at using physical computing to enhance computer programming education using the Arduino platform as a way of stimulating creativity and creating interactive artifacts.

The augmented space, which is aided by the use of blob and fiducial tracking, consists of several hardware components that facilitate overlaid graphics on real physical objects to correctly display electronic circuits and tutorials that scaffold learning in a computer science, engineering or creative technologies curriculum.
